About Alexandra
I was raised in rural Minnesota; a place where dirt is the most common accessory. My first real job was picking strawberries, my second was sorting potatoes. A lot has changed since then, but I still never miss the chance to pet a dog and I always have a camera in my hand.
I graduated from the Savannah College of Art and Design with a BFA in commercial photography. I learned invaluable skills during my time at SCAD but most importantly, I gained the confidence I needed to succeed as a photographer. I quickly realized the professional possibilities were endless and pursuing the next creative opportunity became my favorite thing to do. I’ve shot real estate, pets, portraits, products, lifestyle — you name it!
I have lived in Minnesota, Georgia, Montana and Virginia, but “home” will always be wherever my dog is. I prefer adventure over possessions, experiences over familiarity and growth over comfort. I’m happiest when I’m exploring a National Park or chasing the perfect light, as long as Tucker is along for the ride.
